How to install Beryl 3D desktop visual effects software and Nvidia drivers in Ubuntu Linux 7.04 Feisty Fawn 32-bit operating system |

Requirements: Tested on the below computer system configuration

AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3000+
NVidia GeForce4 420 Go 64M
Ubuntu Linux 7.04 Feisty Fawn i386

1. Check your Internet connection:
Activate the wired or wireless connection.

2. In System/Administration/Restricted Drivers menu:
Enable NVIDIA accelerated graphics driver.

3. Restart your computer.

4. In System/Administration/Synaptic Package Manager menu:
Search for Beryl. Activate "beryl" and mark "To be installed" (the additional packages are: beryl-core, beryl-plugins, beryl-plugins-data, beryl-settings, beryl-settings-bindings, libberyldecoration0). Activate "beryl-manager". Activate "emerald" and mark "To be installed" (the additional package is: libemaraldengine0). Activate "emerald-themes".

5. In Applications/System Tools:
Select Beryl Manager.
